If a company is looking for long-term sales they should try socialising as it would end up being a long-term engagement. They should start off by introducing themselves to people and then build a relationship, and eventually converting them to long-term loyal customers.

Socialising, builds customer loyalty. The company needs to have a conversation with the customer and talk about the good-sides and bad-sides the business.

The company has to take it seriously. They have to be realistic about the output they would be getting out of social media marketing by spending a certain amount of money(would they be losing money or making a profit?).
